Salon Series: Beautiful Music in Historic Venues
Experience the intimacy of salon music set within the hallowed walls of historic landmarks, thanks to a new partnership between Melba Opera Trust and The National Trust of Australia (Victoria).
Be immersed by exquisite music juxtapositioned within the intriguing surroundings of Pentridge Prison. The ticket includes a glass of sparkling wine ahead of Opera Arias that will echo through H Division in live performances by remarkable young artists from Melba Opera Trust.
Audiences will be treated to a program of music across the ages, featuring performances by Jesse Linke (Amelia Joscelyne Memorial Scholarship), Syrah Torii (Paulette Bisley Opera Scholarship and Eleanor Blakemore Opera Society Scholarship), Melba Opera Trust alumnus Stephen Marsh and Artistic Manager Sharolyn Kimmorley AM.
Add to the experience with a Pentridge Prison Tour of B-Division, or enjoy a Chef’s selection of small plates and a glass of wine at Olivine prior to the performance – both provide a truly memorable Pentridge experience.
